Seabuckthorn is eaten for the unique, tangy flavour, and great health benefits. Some people consider it to have a tropical or citrussy flavour as well.
We offer our pure fruit in several forms
So that you can use it any way you like.
Frozen Seabuckthorn Berries If you love tangy flavors, you will love this unique addition of tropical! The berries have one small seed that have almost a perfect 1:1 ratio of omega 3 and 6...so, also good for you! These are very popular for use in sorbets, smoothies, on cereal, in yogurt, vinaigrettes, marinades, wines and liqueurs and a wonderful substitute for cranberries in baking. Sold in 200 g and 1 Kg pouches. See our recipes for ideas.
Frozen Seabuckthorn Puree For those that would prefer not to have the seed, the puree has the seed and skin removed. Pure seabuckthorn pulp! Puree is high in omega 7 which is not readily available from other sources. Available in smoothie cubes, 500 mL and 1 L containers.
Freeze-Dried Seabuckthorn Puree 100% pure seabuckthorn pulp. Intense seabuckthorn flavor in this concentrated form!Where you would use a couple of tablespoons of puree, the substitute would be 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. freeze-dried puree. Use in smoothies, protein shakes, yogurt, sauces, vinaigrettes, or in a glass of sparkling water. Great for camping, sending to friends or taking on a plane.
Our fruit is sold at a number of stores across Saskatchewan.
