INGREDIENTS:
Makes a full cookie sheet
PASTRY DOUGH:
1 1/2 cup | Flour |
1/4 tsp | Salt |
1/2 tsp | Baking powder (optional) |
1/2 cup | Lard, butter, or shortening |
- Cut the above together into pea size pieces.
- Blend 1/2 cup milk and 1 egg and pour into dry mixture
- Cut the ingredients together
- Roll into a rectangle
- Fruit Filling: Saskatoons, nvigorate Seabuckthorn
- Layer fruit in a 1:1 ratio so that you cannot see the bottom.
FRUIT FILLING:
- Saskatoons, nvigorate Seabuckthorn
- Layer fruit in a 1:1 ratio so that you cannot see the bottom.
TOPPING:
1 cup | White flour |
1 cup | Sugar |
1/2 cup | Butter |
- Cut together using a pastry knife until a fine powder. Sprinkle over the filling.
- Bake at 350 F degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. As Dave says, “until the smells wafts through the house “.
